What defines a frameless glass enclosure?
Frameless enclosures are made with custom heavy glass and minimal hardware. Heavy glass is either 3/8" or 1/2" thick and are supported with clamps (sometimes channels) and can be done with or without headers as required. There are many configurations and styles available. For example, steam showers (showers that go to the ceiling and have venting, i.e., a transom for steam release) are commonly used in gyms and larger shower designs. Several new frameless sliding enclosures are on the market as well, giving the space a saving bonus of a slider but with an upgraded frameless look. There are many different hardware color and style choices, as well as glass options to accommodate any design.
